Saving the Mansion House

Phase 2 in Motion: Protecting Our Roofs, Masonry & Chimneys

Phase 2 of our Preservation Project is officially underway! This vital phase focuses on protecting the structural integrity and historic beauty of the Mansion House through several major projects:

  • Roof Replacements: Complete overhauls for the South Wing, North Tower, New House, and Tontine.

  • Masonry Rehabilitation: Expert repairs along the Library Corridor, New House, Lounge, and key exterior walls.

  • Chimney Restoration: Structural repairs to the historic 80-foot boiler chimney.

Mike Colmey, Director of Buildings and Grounds, will post regular updates on our progress, so check back frequently to see the transformation in real time.
