From July 11th-July 15th, the Oneida Community Mansion House is home base for a week-long day camp geared to young learners ages 7 to 12. Campers will explore the entire 33-acre National Historic Landmark site under the expert guidance of history educators, naturalists and anthropologists, from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm each day.
Camp activities include hands-on, inquiry-based explorations of 19th and early 20th century buildings and objects, local natural science, and local ecology.
Camp fee for the week is $40 for OCMH members and $50 for non-members. Space is limited and registration closes on July 6. Children must bring their own lunch for a daily picnic; mid-morning snacks are provided. No refunds will be made after the first day of camp.
Camp week culminates on Saturday, July 16th with the Mansion House fair, an old-fashioned country fair open to the public.
